• Has several publications in medical journals such as; The Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic in Psychiatric Outpatient Visits in Abu Dhabi

Dr Hamid Alhaj has extensive experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the United Kingdom and has worked for over 13 years in England within the National Health Service (NHS) and private sector

Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the College of Medicine, University of Sharjah

He holds the position of Director of Research for the National Association of Psychiatric Intensive Care and Low Secure Units (NAPICU) in the UK

He also holds an Honorary Senior Clinical Lectureship at the University of Sheffield
