Rheumatoid Arthritis causes pain and inflammation in the joints. Tender and swollen joints, Stiffness and numbness of joints after inactivity are symptoms of RA. In most cases, the joints first affected are the fingers of the hands and toes of the feet.

Myositis means inflammation of body moving muscles due to an injury or infection. Severe mitosis includes Dermatomyositis and Polymyositis.

Gout is a type of Arthritis caused due to the accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints. It is characterized by intense pain, swelling and redness in the affected joint (usually the big toe).

Osteoporosis is the condition in which bones become brittle and fragile, increasing the risk of fractures.

Psoriatic Arthritis is a type of Arthritis which affects some people suffering from Psoriasis - a skin disorder that causes scaling up of skin with red patches. It causes the joints to be swollen, stiff and painful.

The term Arthritis generally refers to pain, swelling and stiffness in one or more joints. Arthritis cannot be considered as a single condition and there are more than 100 types of it in total.
